The SCHACK® Forced Circulation Process Gas Cooler (PGC), also known as the La Mont Boiler, is designed for challenging nitric acid production environments. This water tube design ensures reliable operation while minimizing corrosion through optimized materials and a precise operating system.
The flat coil heating surface elements enable a compact single vessel design, while the control evaporator technology ensures constant gas outlet temperatures over the full load range. The SCHACK® Natural Circulation Process Gas Cooler (PGC), with its fire tube design, is built to handle high-temperature applications in nitric acid production.
